The Starter Pack
There is where it all began. The Starter Pack is a collection straight from my childhood. Stained tee’s, cracked logos, faded colors, and colorful pieces are all cues from my childhood. To create this collection I had to modernize the feeling of a child’s “reckless” nature when it comes to clothing while still being meticulous and mindful with every move being made. This collection was specifically made for elementary and middle school me.
“ This first collection pulls inspiration from my youth days where i would seemingly stain every piece of clothing i owned. I would just wear a piece so much it would become unrecognizable compared to when i first bought it. The rainbow color palette also major significance in my life originating from my childhood, and that palette will be used repeatedly and differently in a number of ways. Every piece in this collection is personally hand dyed, washed, dried, printed, painted, and designed by me. There is no piece in the collection that is exactly the same. Each item has its own uniqueness and defects that allow the wearer to interact with it on a more personal basis. The intentional defects include logo fading, logo cracking, dye stains, and ink stains.”
